The following photos are from a 2012 project in Bragg Creek, Alberta. This beautiful hideaway cabin in the Alberta Foothills was a massive project. Treva Usher and the Prairie Outpost Crew turned an unloved and disorganized piece of property into this masterpiece of high end landscape design and quality landscape construction. Sammy Kent was a site supervisor with Prairie Outpost during this project and with the help of Urban Bobcat of Calgary, this was our result.
Nothing makes you feel at home like the warmth of a fire. Be at peace, soak in some R&R on a flagstone patio and outdoor fireplace.
The patio on the left is the landing to where the front stairs descend. The stairs are gorgeous Roca steps made of cast concrete that looks like natural stone. On the right you see a soldier course which lines the lawn and allows for easy mowing and keeps grass out of the garden!
From this angle you see where the stairs meet the landing and more roca steps that drop down to the driveway.
Thank you Treva and Prairie Outpost for allowing me to use these photographs and having me be a part of this amazing project.
